I don't know if any of you know my friend, Lynn Reece. She graduated from Valley last spring. This last weekend she was involved in a serious horse related accident, and was severely injured. A baby horse kicked her in the face. Her cheek bone is shattered, her nose is broken, and the bone in your head, right below her eye is messed up. She faces a fairly long recovery, including surgery. They really don't know how much damage is done yet. So, if you know her, send her a get well message. If not... hope for her speedy recovery.

I know, I know, if people don't keep reminding me, I completely forget about this thing. Sorry.
My computer is officially dead, as of last May, and my dad never seems to get the time to look at it. That's why I haven't been online in a long time. I'm down to a quick e-mail check on my dad's when he's not working on it.
Life's good, but busy. School started. My classes this year are gonna kill me, AP chem, AP US history, AP lang and comp, pre-calc, 2-d art, and orchestra. Lots of stuff. It'll be a lot to manage.
I got a new job, at Panara. Its going really well, and I like it. I have a lot of hours, but the people are great, and hey...its money!
I'm still riding a lot. I did 3 shows this summer. I was supposed to have one last one next weekend, but Butt Butt's lame, so no go. Its going a lot better though. I'm jumping courses consistently, and jumping higher.
I have been falling off a lot lately though, lol. Twice in January, and twice in the last month and a half. Too much...I think I'm getting careless. Gotta work on that, lol.
So I'm just working on keeping it all together. Last year I was doing so much, and it didn't work. i literally had a breakdown, and was always physically sick from exhaustion and stress. So we're not gonna let that happen this year, lol.

Yes, I haven't been on here in like, 6 months. I just kinda forgot about it, lol. But then I remembered....so here's an update for you, Miss VW...
So, I've been really busy. I had my AP European History test on Friday, and I have AP Bio tommorow (Monday), and I'm majorly freaking out. I KNOW that I'm not ready...but there's no way that I'll be able to get all of it in a day. On well...I still get the credit.
Um, riding's going pretty good. I haven't been out very much recently, but once AP's over, I'm gonna start seriously working again. Shows start really soon, and I don't even know who I'll be showing! Better find that out.
Orchestra also going good. Had the large group contest on Friday. We played Fantasia, which is really pretty. We did pretty good too...We only lost 1 point between all 3 judges.
Sorry I can't give a very big update right now, but I still have to study. I'll be back soon, I promise.

So I'm just trying to get out of homework, so I shall grace you all w/ my presence. rofl
So I rode Butt Butt yesterday, and it was wierd. Molly had me shorten up my reins A LOT, when she had been telling me to have them really loose before. I'll hafta ask her about that on Tuesday, cause he actually went worse, it was wierd. She didn't have me jump either, which was quite dissapointing, but maybe next time.
Then I went to the state football championchip on Friday night w/ Rachel, Kierra, Katelyn, McKenzie, Kat, and Annie. It was pretty cool, exeptwe lost. Valley, has won it for the past 2 years in a row. We had some amazing players, including Jason Scales, who would litterally run the ball 60 yds for a touchdown. Well, he graduated last year, most of the good players did. So everyone expected the team to be terrible this year, but we still made it to the finals. And we should have won. Seriously, I'm not trying to play politics, but the refs were terrible. They kept calling penalties on us. How many ways can we possibly get a penalty in a game, where the object of 3/4 of the guys on the field is to hit the other guy as hard as possible. Once we actually got a touchdown, ran the ball 50 yds for a touchdown, and they wouldn't count it. 2 other times we passed the ball and were w/in 10 yds of a touchdown w/ 3 downs left, and they didn't count the pass and made us go back. So of course the Vally fans didn't like that, and pretty soon after ever call they'd start chanting BS (only the real word, lol). Then some other worse stuff. 4th quarter they started throwing stuff onto the field, which as a major no-no. Then everone knew we couldn't cathc up and win, and the other team's fans started writing '04 state champs on their shirts when there was still a good 5 minutes left, and chanting "why so quiet". Even our band left! But yeah, we lost 22-34. Fist loss in 3 years, in over 40 games. Oh well, I shall get over it, hehe.
So Saturday afternoon I had work, but John was there, so it was cool. Then I went to Kath's b-day party w/ Ryan, Rachel, Kari, Steph, and Brooke. It was pretty cool.
So now I'm sitting here, wishing I could skip Central and go to the assmebly Monday. (I think it was supposed to be a trophy presentation, but its gonna be a sportsmanship lecture now, rofl), cause I have a test Monday, and Tuesday, in Euro and Bio. I'll be okay for the Euro one, but I'm totally screwed in bio. And I have a Spanish quiz. I hate that class. I'd be doing okay, if my teacher weren't such a bitch, but ah well, what can u do?

omg, I haven't written anything in a really really long time. A really long time. SO you will get a mini biography, muahahaha.
Ridings going really well. We did some shows this summer, and for just starting out, I'm happy with how I did. Since the shows ended, we've made MAJOR progress. He'll now stay in the bridle at the trot, and yesterday he cantered softly! No one but me and perhaps one other person will understand that, but it makes me smile. I'm also loving the barn again, and thats happy.
School's going pretty good. My classes are really hard though. I do have an "A" in AP Euro, but only a "B" in AP Bio and in Math, i hate math, seriously, i hate it. Maybe it would help if I didn't fall asleep. I also seriously hate my Spanish teacher. She's such a bitch. She's terrible! Especially compared to the awesome one I had last year.
My fave classes are creative writing and orchestra. The teacher's in both are awesome. I have orchestra w/ all my friends and creative writing w/ a bunch of hot guys, lol, who like my poetry, rofl (not quite sure why).
Family's good, its all good.
I get my liscence in 5 months, I can't wait!
I lived through arguing the election. LOL, it was a dissapointment, but whatever. I had all these awesome entries in other message boards, and perhaps I'll copy them over here if I have time. Not that it really matters any more.

Hey all!! I just got back from 2 weeks at camp, sooo, LOTS of catching up must be done, lol. Well, Camp Hantesa was really fun. I rode this addorable Thoroughbred ex-racehorse named Jackie. She did kinda run off w/ me (as in, take bit in teeth and roar off at full gallop toward a jump, lol), but she is sooooo sweet. She really tries for you, even if she doesn't quite get it yet, she's still learning how to balance, she never really had to on the track. I love her!! hehe. We also went off-road scootering, it was hilarious, so much fun. We cooked out, actually made our own fire, and did tons of other stuff. Oh, and we got to visit lots of other barns. We went to Jester Park, Stagecoach, and Canterbrooke. OMG!!!! Canterbrook was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice! I mean, i could not find one single thing wrong w/ it, not one, and thats really saying something. We also got to see theraputic riding lessons, which was really interesting. The people were all great. On the last day me, 4 other girls my age, a guy our age, and 2 16 year old guys had a huge waterfight in the pool. It lasted like an hour. We were throwing those little bean balls (and they throw freakin hard!), and splashing each other w/ kickboards, and the guys kept grabbing us and taking us "hostage", lol. It was lots of fun. But leaving was really sad. Cause i love that place, i spent 2 weeks there this year w/ the same people, i've been going there for 4 years.................. and i'm not going back next summer. It was so akward leaving. Like people i've known for years, that taught me so much. it was like "thanks for all you've taught me, see you........ never". Such saddness. oh well, i'll still visit, lol.
i had a lesson on Butt Butt when i was home last weekend, and i jumped my first oxer!!! I was exited. I also signed up for state fair, omg, i'm doing western. butt butt sucks at western, oh well, lol. it'll be fun.
Anyway, now i'm home, i went to Prairie Meadows last night, and picked a winner, even though none of the PROFESIONAL handicappers picked him to win, i did. lol, i was so proud. and the fireworks there were great.
But i missed all you guys, so u gotta call me, lol. Well, ttyl. I probably missed something, but i'll be back........

Everyone likey the new look of my lj? Kari did it!! *Bows down to Kari*. lol. I'm kinda exited.
Anyway, my lifes been pretty good. I've been out at the barn a lot (what else is new? LOL). Butt Butt has been lots better, has a better trot and is TONS better about keeping his head down. And i've been doing a TON of no stirrups work, and its paying off. I had a lesson today. It was wierd. It started out really really really really really really bad. I actually started crying because I was just so frustrated and I was trying so hard and wasn't getting it. But at the end it just clicked. It was really hard and bad, but one of the most beneficial that i've had in a very long time. Anyway, that was all at the canter. Then I jumped him. He's always so good jumping. He started rushing so bad at the cross rails though. They were tiny and he was jumping so big over them, lol. But he calmed down and hopped over them really nice, so we moved up and did a couple verticles, it ended really good. I'm happy w/ how it ended. I have a lesson again Monday, so hopefully it'll go better, and i'll jump again.
I start work on Monday, from 9-12 every day. aaaaaaaah. But its not a bad job, and i'm working a cartooning class. I'm hoping its the same teacher that i worked under last fall for cartooning. He was so cool. But they didn't tell me the age, which makes me really nervous, lol. Oh well, its money, hehe.
So tonight i went out w/ kari and rachel to quiznos and walgreens, lol. welcome to iowa. But it was really fun to get out again. well, thats agout it for right now. i'll be back

Ok, well, the summers going great at home. I spent yesterday and today at the barn. Yesterday we had to clean the hayloft! OMG, it was sooooooooooooooooooooo bad. I mean cobwebs EVERYWHERE. And so much dirt it was hanging in clumps. You know how in movies, they always go into these houses that no ones been it for 50 years, and its disgusting? It looked exactly like that! And we cleaned it last spring. So we got everything down. We just drove the truck underneath the window, and someone handed down the suff to the people in the truck bed, hehe. It was interesting. But really disgusting. I was in the truck, and the crap kept blowing in my face. grrrrr. So we took everything out, washed it. Vaccuumed, swept, organized the hayloft, and brought everything back up. Then today, we ruined the sweeping, w/ hay. We got a big hay delivery and had to help put it up there. And its really hot, and grrrr. Just grrrrr. Oh well, part of the deal, i guess.
Yesterday, i had a good ride on Butt Butt. He was sooooooooo much better about keeping his head down and focusing on me. I'm really proud of him. Now we just need to work on smoothing out the canter start, and slowing it down. God, he just races around, that will not fly in the hunter arena. lol. Today i did showmanship w/ him and molly, lynn, coroline, aaron, amie, and debbie. We did 2 patterns. He was sooooooo good. I'm really happy w/ it. I had to get home, so i just trotted him around bareback, but he was really good.
Tommorow, i'm gonna look at some show clothes w/ molly. I'm really exited, i'm getting all my own english clothes. Also, molly said that she saw a really nice consighment saddle at tanglewoods, that would fit me. ONLY LIKE 500$!!!!!!!! Its the best deal u will ever find, but its still a lot of money. My parents say i can buy it for my own money, but i just don't know. I really want it, and i have much more then enough to afford it (God bless the bat mitavah, lol), but i should probably save for college and such. Hmmmmmmm, must think, lol.
Anyway, most probably don't give a shit about any of the above, hehe. But the rest of my life's pretty boring. My parents think i'm a golden child now cause i get up early and do everything before i go to the barn (make salad, clean living room, mow lawn). Its definately working, lol. Well, my life's boring, so call me, hehe. I'll be back....... muaahhahaha

Yay, I'm still alive!! I haven't written in the longest time, but i'm baaaaaaack!!!!!!!! (muahahahaha). Anyway, lots has happened, so it'll be kinda long, maybe i should do installments, hmmmmm. Anyway, school ended!!! yay!!!! its so awesome, i was feeling so burned out, and i was freaking about my grades, but 4 A's and 3 B's. I'm still gonna get grounded over some grades on finals, but not for the whole summer, and i'm pretty sure i'll get to keep Butt Butt. Yes, my best, most exiting piece of knews......... I get a horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, sorta. I'm half leasing him. His name is Butt Butt (thats what we call him, his real name is Cloud Skip'n). He's a bay appy w/ a blanket pattern on his rump. He's really pretty, and he's a AWESOME jumper. I love him!!!!!!!!! Can you tell i'm really exited, hehe. Yeah, so i'm gonna do some shows w/ him (first one at Ceder Rapids aug 7-8!). But i'll still have to leave him for TWO WHOLE WEEKS when i go to camp. *Cries* ah well, camp will still be cool. I luv the place, but this'll be my last year. Next year i'd have to go for a month, and i'm not leaving my real life for that long. so, yeah.
I just got back from colarado, it was awesome!!!!!!! We went on a trail ride into the mountains, and got to try white water rafting! Well, i'm probably forgetting something, so i'll be back...........

Okay, my life is really boring. I figured that one out as i was trying to come up w/ something to write here. Must do something, lol. Well, I saw a Wu-shu (kung-fu) demo in world civ, cause one of the girls in my class does it. Then i saw part of a belly-dancing demo. That was interesting... I also found out that one of my teachers is a black-belt in Tai Kwan Do(sp?). So now i gots to be carefull, lol. But no central today and tommorow!!! Yay!!!! thats happy.
Today, after school, John was trying to get my bag onto his shoulder using just his feet. It was soooo funny. Exept he completely killed my bag, lol. But o well, watching that was worth it.
Then i went to work, which of course sucked. Cause their were like 50 bottles of glaze, and the kids mixed them up, w/ the lids off, so i had to figure out which lid went w/ which bottle, grrrrrrrr. o well. Well, anyway, my life is boring. I am living through my friends with interesting lives (i.e. boyfriends). LOL, must get one (as ryan says). haha, well, gotta go, be back soon.

Ook....... It's meeeeeeeeeeeee again. Muahahaha. So today I had work. Little 3-5 year olds, which i'm sure would be really really cute... if i wasn't the one that had to help them paint. There's 11 of them.... Oh god! LOL. Then i had a huge fight w/ my parents... long story, cleaned my room, they checked it, and then i went to the barn. Hmm... Today I learned.... that it is seriously stupid to ride Gus w/out spurs on. hehe. ANd then all the barn friends were gonna go see Hidalgo, but i couldn't *sad face*. Cause i went to the symphony concert. Too bad about the movie, but the concert was really good... But I had to sit, out of the 2,400 seats in the place, we got put right next to Matt Beerman, and family... wat r the odds... *sigh*. Lets just say it was... interesting (read: annoying). Well, i'm soooooooo tired, so i won't write any more. What a shame... I know u all just LOVE to read about my life (NOT). I'll be back....

So today was reaaaaallllllllly bad, but then ended really good. Soo.... I got donuts in world civ. from the donut fund, yay!!! But then i had a suck ass physics test, which i'm sure i failed. Seriously, i'll be amazed if i get 60%. It was soooooo bad. Only one person in all three classes even finished the test. Grrrrrrr, i really cannot aford to get a bad grade in that class. But then after school i went to the barn, and everyone was there. But then Aaron started having a slight temper tantrum (he's 17, so its kinda funny). And then we all (me, lynn, amie, aaron, molly, debie, and lynn's parents) went to Perkins. Which may sound lame, but w/ all of us, its sooooooooo hilarious. It was a lot of fun. And then molly started telling me about john's parents. Lets just say that everything he's ever told us about them is completely true. Neway, but my mom got really pissed, i was talkin to her on the phone from the barn, and everyone else was cracking up, cause i was yelling in russian, but then she was yelling back, and i had to hold the phone away from my ear. And then they were like "wat did u say that got her pissed?" and i seriously don't know. it was wierd, oh well. And now i have to decide whether to go to the symphony or to see hidalgo w/ the barn friends tomorow night. i really want to go see hidalgo, but my dad's leaving on monday, so i should probably to the family thing. Cause they refuse to go to the symphony on Sunday, which makes me really mad. Grrrrr.....

Yay!!! I finally got a livejournal!! Go me! You all have finally converted me... Its ALL YOUR FAULTS!! But thats ok, cause this things fun... if i can get it to work. Cause it is a computer, and we all know how computers feel about me, its that alliance. *sigh* Anyway... so i'll be posting my innermost thoughts and feelings on here i guess (NOT). More likely i'll just be posting lots and lots of random shit. So lets start now. Yay!
Hmm... well, we got a donut fund it World Civ. Cause the teacher brought donuts one day for no reason (not that i'm complaining) so then other people started bringing them. So then we decided to pool money and sent 1 person for then (so that person wouldn't have to pay for all of them). Anyway, i get donuts!! i'm exited (pathetic isn't it). Umm..........Tennis starts soon..... that'll be interesting. And in case neone's wondering we all made complete asses of ourselves at mocktrial... hmmmm. So yeah, i guess that'll be all for now...
